A medium to full bodied cigar with lots of spice, very rich and full flavored yet smooth and balanced. Strong cigar lovers love this one. This is a beautifully constructed cigar that stays lit, burns consistently, and offers up copious amounts of smoke.
Brazilian maduro wrapper with a beautiful, slightly oily appearance and Habano binder surround a blend of Seco Cubano, Ligero Piloto Cubano, Ligero Olor Dominicano, and Ligero Nicaragua. The Red has all the nutty, spicy, and sweet flavors of the black...but in a full, bold body and pallet. If you like a strong cigar but insist it be balanced, this cigar will become your favorite.
The Red 560 is a 60 minute version of my favorite, the 660 Shaggy Foot Pig Tail, packed with full-flavored and well-balanced, spicy heaven. I love this ring gauge.
- Strength: Medium
- Body: Full
- Taste: Molasses, semi-sweet, hint of spice, caramel, coffee
This is my big red wine cigar. It is ideal for pairing with a hearty Cabernet, Zinfandel, Petite Verdot, and any red wine that has a "red fruit flavor". You can also pair it with a Guinness Stout and a Speyside Scotch with fruity undertones and corn-sweet Bourbons like a Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek or Evan Williams.
Red Habano pairs nicely with medium to full bodied red wines. In the larger ring gauges the Habano is less dominant but is still bold enough to pair nicely with strong spirits if you like a slightly milder cigar
